Introduction
The CWU ASME annually hosts the R/C Baja competition, where multiple teams engage in designing, fabricating, and testing R/C cars that must meet specific criteria. This website will primarily concentrate on the drivetrain and chassis aspect of the vehicle, showcasing the design process that adheres to ASME standards. Furthermore, this site will also detail the different rigorous testing's conducted to ensure the car meets all performance requirements without any failures.

Results
Overall, the RC vehicle was an absolute success. Though there were a few hiccups such as steering rack breaking during testing and competition, the vehicle is still a beast of a car. The tests have been satisfactory. The tests performed were acceleration test, and deflection test.
Table 1 Acceleration Data

Beginning with the acceleration test, the requirement was that the vehicle must be able to reach 25mph in 10 seconds. The results of the test are shown in Table 1. The car could not meet the requirements and did not pass the test. The max speed it was able to reach was 23 mph due steering issues.

Figure 10 Graph of Deflection Test
In the deflection test, the criterion was that deflection should not surpass 0.30 inches. The graph in Figure 6 depicts the test results, showcasing how the chassis responded to a maximum load force of 35 lbs. The chassis fulfilled the requirement, registering a deflection of 0.047 inches, thereby passing the test.
